1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using PrivaNote ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. PrivaNote is provided as a standalone, offline, zero-network utility application.
2. Zero-Cloud & User Data Responsibility
PrivaNote operates 100% on-device and does not transmit, back up, or sync any data to external servers. Because your database is encrypted locally with your Master PIN:
- You are solely responsible for remembering your Master PIN.
- Forgotten Master PINs cannot be reset by the developer.
- You are responsible for exporting and storing encrypted offline backups.
3. Self-Destruct Mechanism
PrivaNote includes an optional self-destruct security feature that permanently wipes the local database after exceeding configured failed PIN attempts. Activation of this feature is voluntary, and wiped data cannot be recovered.
4. Software License & Disclaimer
PrivaNote is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The developers shall not be liable for any data loss, hardware failure, or unauthorized physical access resulting from compromised device security.
